Mrs. Martha Marie Owen Knight, age 76 of Lewisburg, passed away 2:21 PM Monday, March 13, 2017 at her residence of natural causes. Services for Mrs. Martha will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Latham Funeral Home with Mr. Phillip Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Martha was born July 5, 1940 in Todd Co., KY the daughter of the late Hubert and Esther Williams Owen. She was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Russellville, KY. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Knight in 1984.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Eugene Knight of Lewisburg; her sons, Tony “Joe” Knight of Lewisburg and Terry Wendell (Candida) Knight of Schochoh, KY; her daughters, Vickie Shelton of Allegre and Jenifer Hadden Knight of Lewisburg; her sister, Linda Shepherd of Guthrie, KY; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
