Mrs. Sharon Kay Higdon age 73 of Elkton passed away Sunday November 26, 2017 7:22 a.m. at her residence of natural causes. Services will be Wednesday November 29, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Steven Neel and Rev. Matt Seel officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY.
Mrs. Higdon was born in Logan County, KY November 8, 1944 the daughter of the late Walter Ervin Gibbs and Irene Elizabeth Byrd Gibbs. She was a Customer Service Representative with Farm Credit Mid America. She was a member of O’Roark United Methodist Church and attended Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Wendell Gibbs.
She is survived by her husband Glenn Higdon of Elkton, KY her sons Walt Higdon and Burke and his wife April Higdon all of Elkton, KY, her daughter Jane Elizabeth Higdon of Bowling Green, KY, her grandchildren Dalton, Logan, Dane and Chandler.
