Mr. Robert James “Bob” Atkinson, age 72 of Sharon Grove, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Mr. Bob had requested a cremation service with a private family service at a later date at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Bob was born November 13, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Frances Xavier Atkinson and Mary Cecial Doyle Atkinson. He was retired after 23 years of service in the U.S. Navy having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Bob was a member of the Catholic Faith.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Margaret O’Reilly-Atkinson of Sharon Grove; his daughters, Kathaleen Atkinson of Conneticut, Darlene Ledford of Orlando, Florida, Peggyann Bulens of Sharon Grove, Annmarie Berry of Sharon Grove and Tracy Ann Harris of Virginia Beach, VA; 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
