Mr. James Talles “Junie” Allen Jr age 84 of Trenton, KY passed away Saturday September 30, 2017 11:16 p.m. at his residence of natural causes. Services will be Wednesday October 4, 2017 10:00 a.m. at Trenton Baptist Church in Trenton, KY with Rev. Dean Anderson and Rev. Steve Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton,KY. Visitation will be Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Trenton Baptist Church from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allen was born in Trenton, KY July 2, 1933 the son of the late James Talles Allen Sr and Arbee Williams Allen. He was the owner of Allen Speciality Company in Trenton, KY and a member of the Trenton Baptist Church. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Audrey Kaye Rader Allen in 2015 and his two brothers Douglas and Robert Allen.
He is survived by his sons James Talles “Jimmy” Allen III of Louisville, KY and Christopher Rader Allen of Trenton, KY.
