Mr. Calvin B. Suddeath, age 98 of Allensville, passed away 2:22 PM Monday, November 13, 2017 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes. Services for Mr. Suddeath will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Tharpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00AM Saturday at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Suddeath was born May 9, 1919 in Todd County, KY the son of the late Cal and Beaulah Bennett Suddeath. He was a farmer and member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Allensville. Mr. Suddeath was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Suddeath in 2009.
Survivors include his sons, Billy Suddeath and his wife Wanda of Azle, TX and Mike Suddeath of Elkton; 1 grandchild, Larry Suddeath and his wife Amy; four great grandchildren, Joshua Suddeath and his wife Lacey, Kylea Styne, Jacob Suddeath and Kayla Suddeath.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 8972 Allensville Road, Allensville, KY 42204.
