William Gordon Knight

Mr. William Gordon Knight age 88 of Elkton, KY passed away Wednesday May 16, 2018 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes. Services will be Friday May 18, 2018 10:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Jerry Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Thursday May 17, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Knight was born in Todd County, KY April 14, 1930. He was a Framing Forman for Power Line Construction and a member of New Life Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Mae Knight 2006, his parents Corble Leslie (Bud) Knight and Elma Elizabeth Trainer Knight, his son William Dale Knight in 1961, his brothers Joe Arnold, George Albert and Ford Knight and Woodrow Lindsey, his sisters Katherine Knight and Lillie Mae Goines.
He is survived by his sons Michael and David Knight both of Elkton, KY, Ronnie and his wife Connie Knight of Owensboro, KY, and Donnie Knight of Whitesville, KY, his daughters Betty Darlene and her husband Michael Wayne Coomer of Kirkmansville, KY, Peggy and her husband Jeff Hightower of Elkton, KY, and Judy and her husband Ricky Nealy of Franklin, KY, his brothers Carl Knight and Gene Knight both of Elkton, KY, one sister Dorothy Nell Knight of Owensboro, KY, 19 Grandchildren and 42 Great Grandchildren.
