Wayne Lee Pearson

Mr. Wayne Lee Pearson age 78 of Elkton KY passed away Sunday October 13, 2019 1:16 p.m. in the NHC Healthcare of Hendersonville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Thursday October 17, 2019 11:00 a.m. at Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, KY with Rev. David Wilkerson and Rev. Mike Cummings officiating, burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday October 16, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY. Visitation on Thursday after 10:00 a.m. at Elkton Baptist Church.
Mr. Pearson was born in Owensboro, KY November 15, 1940, he was a graduate of Kentucky School of Embalming. He was the owner and operator of Latham Funeral Home for over 50 years where he served as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. Mr. Pearson also served a number of years as a Deputy Coroner for Todd County. He was a member of Elkton Baptist Church where he served as deacon, choir member, SAF Leader. He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Pearson in 2006, his parents Austin Pearson and Opal Maxberry Pearson.
He is survived by his daughters Kim Noffsinger and her husband Lance of Greenbrier, TN and Kara Ezell and her husband Chris of Clarksville, TN, his brother Bill Maxberry of Owensboro, KY 4 grandchildren Pearson Ezell, Lee Noffsinger, Cal Noffsinger and Ryleigh Ezell.
