Thomas Edward "Tommy" Hampton

Mr. Thomas Edward “Tommy” Hampton age 79 of Elkton, KY passed away Tuesday February 27, 2018 5:00 p.m. in the St. Thomas Mid Town in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Saturday March 3, 2018 10:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Matt Seel officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 2, 2018 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Hampton was born in Todd County May 8, 1938. He was a farmer and owner/operator of Hampton’s Dairy Mart, he also served on the board of directors for United Southern Bank for 30 plus years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a very active member of Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Edward “Boss” Hampton and Margaret Butler Hampton. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda Sullivan Hampton of Elkton, KY his son Frank and his wife Charity Hampton of Elkton, KY, his daughters Lesley and her husband Kevin Frogue of Elkton, KY, Hannah and her husband Todd Mansfield of Elkton, KY and Colleen and her husband Billy Carter of Elkton, KY, his sister Mary Lou Hampton of Morgantown, KY, his grandchildren Lauren and Clay Frogue, Alison, Abby and Aaron Mansfield, Meredith Hampton and Meredith Carter, and Thomas and Will Hampton.
