Shirley Howell

Mrs. Shirley Howell, age 72 of Trenton, passed away 9:10 PM, Monday, March 15, 2021 at her residence of natural causes. Graveside services will be Friday March 19, 2021 9:00 a.m. in Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton, KY with burial to follow. Rev Chris Childress and Rev Jess Tharpe officiating. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Howell was born in Franklin, KY March 22, 1948 the daughter of the late Alvin Bush and Devell Carter Durham. She was a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and retired from St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Howell was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served as piano player for over 20 years and the church secretary.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years David Howell of Trenton, KY, her sons Michael Howell and his wife Ann of Janesville, WI, and Barry Howell and his wife Virginia of Smyrna, TN, her brother Roger Bush and his wife Candy of Pembroke, KY and her sister Cindy Gibbins and her husband Bryan of Franklin, KY her grandchildren David, Hunter and Rachel Howell and her great grandchild Braxton Howell.
