Shirley Ann Francies

Mrs. Shirley Ann Groves Francies, age 86 of Elkton, passed away 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. Services will be Tuesday November 8, 2022 11:00 a.m. at Elkton Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Davis and Rev. Joe Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Visitation will be Monday November 7, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday November 8, 2022 after 9:00 a.m. at Elkton Baptist Church. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shirley Ann was born May 11, 1936 in Todd County, KY. She was a homemaker and member of Elkton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Clara Boley Groves; her husband, Carl Francies, her brothers, Johnny Groves, Joe Groves and Dennis Groves, her daughter in law, Emily Wilson.
Survivors include her son, Gary Wilson of Elkton,KY, her step sons Mark Francies and his wife Nena, and Jeffrey Francies and his wife Stacy all of Elkton; her daughter, Lisa Laster of Elkton and her step daughter Karen Scott and her husband Bruce of Elkton; 3 grandchildren Matt Laster and his wife Bianca, Rachael Taylor and her husband Grant and Catherine Poole and her husband Thomas and 3 great grandchild Kinsley Lster, Connor Hadden and Aubrie Hadden.
