Sarah Margaret Stokes

Mrs. Sarah Margaret Knight Stokes, age 94 of Elkton, passed away 3:00 PM, Monday, August 09, 2021 at her residence of natural causes. Services will be Friday August 13, 2021 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Wilhite and Rev. Mitch Hedge officiating. Burial will follow in the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Thursday August 12, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home Services will be livestreamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Stokes was born May 14, 1927 in Todd County. She was retired from Red Kapp and attended Stokes Chapel Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Stokes in 2018, her daughter Sarah Ann Norfleet in 2021, her son Paul Michael Stokes, her parents Sam Knight and Rosie Lee Trainer Knight Cole, her brothers Albert Lee, Edmund and Milam Knight, her sister Lela Gregory.
She is survived by her son Jerry Stokes and his wife Jane of Guthrie, KY, her daughter Brenda West and her husband Elwood of Hopkinsville, KY and Mary Elaine Davis and her husband Michael of Elkton, KY. 8 Grandchidlren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
