Janie Barrow

Mrs. Janie Barrow, age 71 of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from injuries she sustained when she was struck by a car at her residence. Private services will be held at Latham Funeral Home . Public is invited to watch the live stream of the services at 9:00 a.m. Monday Morning August 3, 2020 by going to lathamfuneralhome.com or you may call the office at 270-265-2150. There will be no public visitation. Rev. Mike Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
Mrs. Barrow was born October 22, 1948 in Allegre, KY. She has been employed as an insurance agent with Willis Insurance and later with Marklin Insurance both in Elkton, KY. She was a very active member of Elkton Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU and several other committees. Mrs. Barrow loved gardening as she shared her vegetables and flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Jordan and Velma Inas Pierce Jordan.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Barrow of Elkton, KY her son Jason G. Barrow and his wife Ele of Bowling Green, KY, her brother Jeff Jordan of Allegre, KY, her sisters Faye McCuiston of Dawson Springs, KY, Sue Weathers of Elkton, KY, Charlene Faulkner of Hopkinsville,KY and Wanda Whitman of Allegre, KY, her granddaughters Clara Jane and Annsley Pierce Barrow both of Bowling Green, KY
