Ruthell Mae Spurlin

Mrs. Ruthell Mae Spurlin, age 88 of Elkton, passed away 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Services for Mrs. Ruthell will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Blick officiating. Burial will follow in the France Cemetery in Allegre. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Ruthell was born September 15, 1933 in Todd County, KY. She was retired from Flynn Enterprise. She was a member of Sharon Grove Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Bessie Mae Jones Francies; her husband, Wesley Spurlin in 1988.
Survivors include her son, Timothy Spurlin of Elkton; her brother, Leon Francies of Allegre; two grandchildren, Amber Nicole Spurlin and Wesley Glen Spurlin; six great grandchildren, Andrew Spurlin, Winston Spurlin, Oliver Spurlin, Maritza Spurlin, Kristofer Lopez and Jonathan Lopez.
