Ruth Ann Hall

Mrs. Ruth Ann Hall, age 93 of Elkton, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville, TN. Memorial service will be Wednesday January 26, 2021 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Ruth was born June 30, 1928 in Logan County, KY. She was a member of the Elkton Baptist Church. Mrs. Ruth was retired from Ardco in Elkton. She was also a missionary having served in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Egypt, Jordan and Israel. She would make children’s clothes to distribute on her mission trips. Even in her passing she was giving by contributing her body to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She was preceded in death by her parents, John James Thomas and Penelope Barnes Thomas; her husband, Marvin Hall; her son, John Ray Cavanaugh, her daughter, Anna Faye Jackson; her brothers, Oscar Thomas, Joseph Thomas, James Thomas and Lewis Thomas; her sister, Imogene Steiner.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Allen Cavanaugh of LaVerne, TN and David A. Cavanaugh Jr. of Antioch, TN; 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
