Russell Scott Jones

Mr. Russell Scott Jones, age 78 of Guthrie, passed away 11:00 AM, Monday, December 20, 2021 at his residence. Services for Mr. Jones will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the North District Amish Church, Guthrie, KY 42234 with Deacon Melvin Troyer and Minister Daniel Beachy officiating. Burial will be in the Pilgrim Mennonite Church Cemetery in Cochranton, PA. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Sorting Center in Guthrie. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jones was born March 12, 1943 in Aroda, VA. He was a retired Electrician and Farmer. He was a member of the North District Amish Church in Guthrie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Wayne Jones and Leona Seale Jones; his first wife, Viola Schlabach and his son, William Wayne Jones.
Survivors include his wife, Keturah Wengerd Jones of Guthrie, his son, Matthew Scott Jones and his wife Angela of Hillsboro, KY; his daughters, Laurie Ann Yoder and her husband Kevin of Maryville, MO, Judith Lynn Yoder and her husband Jay of Mifflintown, PA and Michal Rose Sweigart and her husband Jonathan of Wagener, SC; his brother, Harold Wayne Jones and his wife Betty of Sperryville, W. VA., his sister, Carol Ann Wilkens and her husband Owen of Mathias, W. VA.; 18 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
