Romie Gill Settle

Mr. Romie Gill Settle, age 85 of Clifty, passed away 11:20 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY of natural causes. There will be a private service for Mr. Settle with Rev. Paul Moore and Rev. Donald McGehee officiating Latham Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Settle was born in Allegre, KY February 18, 1935. He was retired from Emerson Electric in Russellville, KY. Mr. Settle was a Baptist by faith and had attended Westside Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents Horace Settle and Ruthelle Bradley Settle, his sisters Reby West and Patsy Statton.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Jo Nell Winn Settle of Clifty, KY, his son Joe Alan Settle and his wife Jeanette Linn of Hopkinsville, KY, his grandchildren Ashley Elizabeth Settle-Weingartner and Katherine Linn Settle.
