Mr. Romie Gill Laster, age 78 of Hopkinsville and formerly of Todd Co., passed away 2:23 PM, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at his residence of natural causes. The family has chosen a private service with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Romie was born June 3, 1942 in Todd County. He was the former owner of Laster and Son’s Portable Buildings in Hopkinsville and had attended Kelly Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross Thomas Laster and Flossie Ann McGhee Laster; his wife, Linda Faye Shemwell Laster, his sons, David Laster and Junior Laster, his granddaughter, LaTosha Laster Mayton.
Survivors include his son, Charles Michael Laster of Crofton, his sister, Pearl Knight of Elkton, 4 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
