Robert Garth Camp

Mr. Robert Garth Camp age 67 of Trenton, KY passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021 3:20 p.m. at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN from injuries he received earlier in the week in a workplace accident. Per Garth’s wishes the family has chosen a cremation with a Celebration of Life Services Saturday January 16, 2021 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Bill Oliver officiating. Walk thru visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. The service will be live streamed for those who cannot attend just go to lathamfuneralhome.com.
Garth was born in Hopkinsville, KY June 22, 1953 the son of the late Robert Garth “Doc” Camp Sr and Mary Glenn Hall Camp. He was the Owner Operator of Camp Electric, Founding member of Todd County Rescue Squad, Safety Officer for Trenton Volunteer Fire Dept, Employed by Todd County Ambulance Service and Disaster Emergency Services Director for many years. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Bobby Hall Camp.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Lou Camp of Trenton,KY and his son Will Camp of Trenton, KY his sister Anne “Sissy” George of Frankfort, KY.

Due to current mandates set forth by the Governor of Kentucky, there is an occupancy limit of 50 per cent inside the funeral home, not including funeral home staff or officiating clergy. It is also required that a mask be correctly worn at all times while inside the building.
