Raymond E. Johnson

Mr. Raymond Johnson age 76 of Elkton, KY passed away Tuesday March 20, 2018 at his residence of natural causes. Services will be Saturday March 24, 2018 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Matt Seel officiating burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Friday March 23, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Raymond was born in Mooresville, IN July 19, 1941. He was a Salesman for K.T. Harvestor Systems, Jenkins and Wynn Automotive in Clarksville, TN and Mansfield Automotive in Russellville, KY. He was an avid Bluegrass music fan and was very talented with a number of instruments, having played with different groups around the county. Mr. Raymond attended Petrie Memorial United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Johnson and Dorothy Stewart Johnson, his brother Tim Johnson and his sister Wilma Boone.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Judy Johnson of Elkton, KY his son Tim Johnson of Albemarle, NC, his daughters Shonda and her husband Bill Sammons of Guthrie, KY, and Dawn and her husband Mervin Strader of Elkton, KY, his sisters Roberta Mosier of Mooresville, IN and Martha Elkins of Indianapolis, IN, 3 grandchildren Clay and Ellie Strader and Allen Friedman.
