Polly Bell McKinney

Mrs. Polly Bell Phelps McKinney age 91 of Elkton, KY passed away Tuesday June 18, 2019 9:36 a.m. at Bradford Heights Health and Rehab in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes. Services will be Friday June 21, 2019 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Thursday June 20, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. McKinney was born February 12, 1928 in Todd County, KY. She was retired from Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY and later worked at Dollar Store in Elkton. She attended Providence United Methodist Church. She loved to travel, going to truck pulls, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Gunsmoke. She is preceded in death by her parents William Lee “Jake” Phelps and Lizzie Bell McBride Phelps, her sons James McKinney in 2014 and Charles McKinney in 2011, her brother Rosevelt Phelps in 1984.
She is survived by her sons Harold McKinney of Elkton, KY and Jerry and his wife Ginger McKinney of Clifty, KY, her daughters Judy Boyle and her husband Martin of Hopkinsville, KY, and Rita Stacey and her husband Steve of Dover, TN, 7 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren
