Nathan Bailey Penick Jr

Mr. Nathan Bailey Penick, Jr age 64 of Guthrie, passed away 10:56 PM, Thursday, March 04, 2021 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. Graveside services will be Monday March 8, 2021 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Steve Reed and Mr. Matt Krupp officiating at Todd County Meadow Haven with burial to follow. Walk thru visitation will be Sunday March 7, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY.
Mr. Penick was born July 5, 1956 the son of the late Nathan Bailey “Nat” Penick Sr and Sarah Frances Chastain Penick. He was the owner operator of Buckshot Trucking and a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. He lived for farming, driving his trucks, and his family. He was the hardest of workers and a detailed storyteller. “Pop” adored his family and will be missed dearly. Ride on Buckshot.
He is survived by his son Kyle Penick and his wife Sarah of Guthrie, KY, his daughters Kylene Krupp and her husband Matt of Lexington, KY, and Kelly Wells and her husband Joey of Guthrie, KY, his brother Jeff Penick and his wife Kelli of Guthrie, KY his sister Kathy Conyea and her husband Lenny of Guthrie, KY, his grandchildren Kinley Reding, Nate Reding, Sarah Krupp, Grady Reding, Miles Reding, Lydia Krupp, Aubri Penick, Luke Krupp, River Penick and Anna Krupp.
