Mrs. Minnie Lee Odum, age 91 of Springfield, TN, passed away 4:56 PM Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at her residence of natural causes. Private burial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, VA. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Minnie was born July 1, 1928 in Bristol, TN. She was a former employee of the telephone company. Minnie was a loving and devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family. She was a member of the Presbyterian Faith and attended Greenbrier United Methodist Church in Greenbrier, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Oscar Carrier and Georgia Allison Carrier, her husband, Herschel “Red” Odum, her brothers, Glenn Carrier and Paul Robert “Slick” Carrier; and her sister, Eva Beverly.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff Odum and his wife Stacy of Raliegh, NC and Rob Odum and his wife Malissa “Tiny” of Springfield, TN; her grandchildren, Wesley Odum, Zachary Odum and Justin Odum.
