Mildred Ann Kirkman

Mrs. Mildred Ann Kirkman, age 75 of Louisville formerly of Elkton; passed away 5:20 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Norton’s Women and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY of natural causes. Services for Mrs. Mildred will be 1:00 PM, Monday, October 4, 2021 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating. The services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com. Burial will follow in the Kirkman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM, Monday at Latham Funeral Home until time for the service.
Mrs. Mildred was born February 25, 1946 in Logan County, KY. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Benjamin and Mary Francis Latham Sawyer; her son, Jeffrey Kirkman; her brothers, James and Ricky Sawyer and her sister, Robin Sawyer.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Kirkman of Louisville; her son, Steven Kirkman of Louisville; her daughters, Lisa Kirkman of Bowling Green, Karen Thompson and her husband, Glen of Brandenburg, KY and Barbara Meadows and her husband, Travis of Vine Grove, KY; her brother, Jerry Sawyer of Elkton; her sisters, Betty Ruth Kirkman of Benton, Wanda Redfern of Elkton and Mary Linda Valentine of Elkton; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
