Martha Jane Moore

Mrs. Martha McGehee Moore age 94 of Clifty, KY passed away Friday September 7, 2018 at 3:20 p.m. in the Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY of natural causes. Services will be Tuesday September 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Mr. Bobby Gardner and Mr. Malcolm Rust officiating. Burial will follow in the McPherson Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Monday September 10, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore was born January 11, 1924 in Todd County, KY. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Church of Christ where she was very active as a longtime Sunday School Teacher. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, visiting with friends and feeding everyone. She especially loved being a farmer’s wife, having been married 69 years to Ralph Moore who passed away in 2015. She is also preceded in death by her parents Clay McGehee and Clemie Willis McGehee, her Grandson Robbie Moore, her Great Great Grandchild Addison Basham, her Brothers Walter and Ray McGehee, her Sisters Sylvia Moore, Ruth Sweeney, Patsy Addison, Lorene McPherson and Nellie Browning.
She is survived by her son Dwight Moore and his wife Carolyn of Clifty, KY, her daughter Delphene Martin and her husband Larry of Clifty, KY, her brother Glen McGehee of Russellville, KY, her sisters Glenna Dorris and Lathell Dymacek both of Bowling Green, KY, 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
