Malinda Y. Swarey

Mrs. Malinda Swarey was born April 10, 1934 at Kempsville, VA to Simon and Katie Ann Yoder.
Entered into rest on December 7, 2021 after a 3 month illness of cancer. Her age is 87 years 7 months 27 days.
She accepted Christ as her savior and was baptized into the Amish Church and was a faithful member until her death. On October 3, 1957 she married Samuel Swarey who preceded her in 2010. She lived in matrimony for 52 years.
Surviving her are her children Rebecca and her husband Devon Lambright of Crofton, KY, Daniel and his wife Loretta of Ava, IL, Ernest and his wife Marlene of Brinkhaven, OH, Reuben and his wife Fredia of Henry, TN, Ruth Swarey and her husband the late Samuel, Sara and her husband Allen Yoder of Cynthiana, KY, Robert and his wife Mabel of Guthrie, KY, Julian and wife Kathyrn of Sumner, IL, Amanda Byler of Hohenwald, TN, Rachel and her husband Ben “JR” Miller of Mount Hope, OH, 69 Grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, her sisters Sara Yoder, Rhoda Coblentz Freeman and Marie Schlabach,
She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Mose Swarey, her son Samuel Levi Swarey, her daughter Barbara Eva Byler, her parents, Simon and Katie Ann Yoder, her brothers Peter, Robert and Noah her sisters Arlene and Barbara.
