Lydia Burkholder Hoover

Mrs. Lydia Burkholder Hoover, age 87 of Pembroke, KY, passed away 9:45 PM Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her residence of natural causes. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Fairview Mennonite Church, 653 Roger Q. Mill Rd., Pembroke, KY 42266 with Bishop Samuel Hoover and Minister John Hoover officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Hoover will be Sunday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Hoover Residence, 9468 Champion Highway, Pembroke, KY 42266.
Mrs. Hoover was born June 21, 1931 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Amos N. Hoover and Ella Burkholder Hoover. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Titus B. Hoover and David B. Hoover; her sisters, Ella B. Martin and Esther Habegger.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ivan Weaver Hoover of Pembroke, KY; her brother, Amos B. Hoover of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; her sister, Anna B. Brubaker of Port Trevorton, Pennsylvania; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
