Louise Tabb Cornwell

Mrs. Louise Stokes Tabb, age 86 of Elkton, passed away 10:00 AM, Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence of natural causes. Services will be Tuesday January 19, 2021 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Autry Moore, Rev. Jerry Sweeney and Rev. Arno Kranz officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery Sharon Grove, KY. Visitaiton will be Monday January 18, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home. Mrs. Tabb was born in Fairview, KY August 3, 1934 the daughter of the late Ed Stokes and Della Upton Stokes. She was a Teachers Aide in the Head Start Program and worked at Ardco. She was a member of New Life Fellowship in Elkton, KY. She loved to fish, sing, taking care of her flowers, cooking for and loving her family. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Jewell R. Tabb and her second husband Grover Cornwell, her daughter Joyce McKinney, her brothers Jim, Dorris, Bill, Junior and Thurston Stokes, her sisters Diane Lancaster, Anna Belle Cotton Ewing and Helen Russell.
She is survived by her sons Eddie Tabb and his wife Carol of Hopkinsville, KY, and Earl Tabb of Elkton, KY, her daughters Eveline Sweeney and her husband Kerry of Clifty, KY, Jo Tabb and Mary Rager both of Elkton, her sister Janie Russell of Fairview, KY. 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
