Mr. Lloyd Cannon, 89 of Eastport, Michigan and formerly of Elkton, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Eastport Care Home in Eastport, Michigan. Services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Davenport officiating. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com. Burial will follow in the Stokes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 AM until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.
Lloyd was born on October 14, 1931 in Elkton, Kentucky the son of Lones and Johnnie Cannon. Lloyd grew up in Elkton, Kentucky and later moved to Dearborn, Michigan. He worked as a truck driver for 15 years, along with working at Ford Motor Company for 25 years. He was a part of the Dearborn Police Reserves for 15 years. Lloyd had a passion for horses and throughout the years owned and raised harness racing horses. He is proceeded in death by his parents Lones and Johnnie Cannon, his wife Eula Mae Cannon, and his son Richard Cannon.
Survivors are his son, Mike Cannon and his wife Deb of Central Lake, Michigan; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
