Kaye Hollins Crouch, 58, died at home on her family farm in Elkton, KY on June 27 after a long struggle with brain cancer. A lifelong resident of Elkton, she graduated from Todd County Central High School and Austin Peay State University.
Kaye’s love of the arts led her to an internship at Cheekwood Museum of Art in Nashville, which became a 20-year tenure as registrar, where she become a widely-loved and respected member of the museum community. At home, Kaye served on the board of the Elkton First Christian Church, where she supervised the restoration of the church’s stained glass windows, and also on the board of the West Area Council of the First Christian Church.
Kaye was predeceased by her parents, David and Georgia Crouch of Elkton, KY and is survived by her brother, James, of New Orleans, and multiple cousins around the country. A graveside ceremony at Gleenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY is scheduled for 11:00 AM, July 11, 2020. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In the interest of public health, a larger memorial will be scheduled at a later date.
