John David Kenner

Mr. John David Kenner, age 88 of Sharon Grove, passed away 9:56 PM Friday, October 12, 2018 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton of natural causes. Services for Mr. Kenner will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Latham Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Crunk and Mr. Robert Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Kenner was born May 20, 1930 in Todd County the son of the late John Dudley Kenner and Ethel Mae Gorrell Kenner. He was employed at Trane Inc in Clarksville for 28 Years and he was a farmer. Mr. Kenner also was an agent for Modern Woodmen of America where he was responsible for countless fund raisers for various community organizations over his 50 years of service. He was a member of the Sharon Grove Church of Christ where he taught Sunday school for many years, charter member of the Sharon Grove Lion’s Club and member of the Sharon Grove Park. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celia Kenner in 2009.
Survivors include his sons, Mike Kenner and his wife Kim of Sharon Grove and Jimmy Kenner and his wife Penny of Blackburn, OK; three grandchildren, David Kenner, Kyle Kenner and his wife Lana and Christopher Kenner and his wife Kelsie; four great grandchildren, Ethan, John Logan, Clay and Cohen Kenner.
