John Aaron Detweiler, age 12 of Guthrie, KY passed away 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2022 after an accident at his home. Services for John Aaron will be 10:00 AM, Sunday, May 1, 2022 at North District Amish Church, 1520 Elkton-Trenton Rd, Guthrie, KY 42234 with Bishop Alan Detweiler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for John Aaron will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at the Kentucky Sorting Center, 3330 Old Railroad Lane, Guthrie, KY 42234. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton is in charge of the arrangements. John Aaron was born April 12, 2010 in Springfield, TN to his parents, Andrew and Tina Detweiler. He is also survived by his siblings, David Andrew, Joanne Kaye, Susan Irene, Beth Anne, Wilford Alan, William Earl and Karl Ray; his paternal grandparents, Alan and Mary Ann Detweiler of Guthrie, maternal grandparents, Daniel and Susie Beachy of Guthrie, maternal great grandfather and step great grandmother, John Henry and Emma Beachy of Kolona, Iowa; step great grandmother, Marjorie Yoder of Guthrie. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Linda Irene Detweiler Beachy.
