Mr. Joda L. “Joe” Boley, age 83 of Russellville and formerly of Sharon Grove, passed away 6:45 AM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Services will be Saturday November 20, 2021 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Tommy Wilhite and Rev. Andrew Huffingham officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove, KY. Visitation will be Saturday November 20, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com. Mr. Boley was born April 24, 1938 in Todd County. He was the owner operator of Boley’s TV Repair in Sharon Grove. He had been employed by Emerson Electric, retired as an Electrician for TVA Paradise Steam Plant and worked at ToolTec in Elkton. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Second Baptist Church in Russellville, KY. He is preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Roberts Boley in 2002, his parents Derrell Boley and Eula Mae Borders Blake, his son Doug Boley in 2012, his sisters Betty Harris, Wanda Savage and Velda Gant. He is survived by his wife Faye Barton Boley of Russellville, KY, his daughter Lisa Cole and her husband Robert “Timmy” of Elkton, KY, his daughter-in-law Stacey Boley of Elkton, his step daughters Robin Christmas and her husband Steve of Paducah, KY and Dawn Chapman and her husband Grant of Murfreesboro, TN, his sisters Nancy Humphries, Jane Noe and Patsy Oberhausen all of Russellville, KY, Muriel Sears of Sharon Grove, KY and Cheryl Mumm of Sydney, IL, his grandchildren Trevor Cole and his wife Rachel, Jared Cole and his wife Brooklyn, Collin Boley and his wife Samantha, Ethan Boley and his wife Leslie, Barton Christmas and Landry Chapman, 4 great grandchildren and soon to be 5. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
