Joan Lee Morin-Gebert

Mrs. Joan Morin-Gebert, age 76 of Elkton, passed away 2:16 a.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Mike Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Saturday February 24, 2024 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Gebert was born November 26, 1947 in Florence, AL. She was retired from ARDCO in Elkton and had been employed as a 911 operator for Todd and Logan County. She was a member of Oakland Church of Christ in Clarksville, TN and Waynesdale Church of Christ in Waynesdale, IN. Her two loves were her family and traveling. She is preceded in death by her father RD Kelly and her step mother Ruth Kelly; her mother Ruth Cochran Morris and her step father Robert Morris, her husband Steven J. Gebert, her brothers Callan Kelly and Wayne Morris.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Morin and his wife Olga of Elkton, John Morin and his wife Tammy of Denver, CO, Larry Morin and his wife Sylvia of North Potomac, MD and Anthony Morin and his wife Barbara of Clarksville, TN, her brother Thomas Russell and his wife Diane of Vero Beach, FL, her sister Debbie Haile and her husband Richard of Ft. Collins, CO, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
