Jo Nell Wells

Mrs. Jo Nell Wells, age 78 of Greenville, KY, passed away 5:00 PM, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY of natural causes. Services for Mrs. Jo Nell will be 1:30 PM, Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Evitts officiating. Burial will follow in the Strader Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jo Nell was born February 21, 1943 in Todd County. She was a retired from Banking having worked at First City Bank in Hopkinsville and United Southern Bank Clifty Branch. She was a member of New Harmony General Baptist Church where she was active in the Women In Action. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Earl and Mirtie McGehee Strader, her husband, Darrell Wayne Wells, her son, Joey Wells, her brothers, Carl and Milford Strader.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Kelly Wells of Guthrie; her brothers, Lawrence Strader and his wife Barbara of Elkton, Donald Strader and his wife Linda of Elkton, Billy Strader and his wife Betty of Lewisburg, Buin Strader of Hazard, KY and Jimmy Strader and his wife Laquita of Greenville; her sister, Sheila Hancock and her husband Bobby of Russellville; 4 grandchildren, Kinley, Nate, Grady, Miles Reding all of Guthrie.
