Jo-Ann Talley

Mrs. Jo Ann Talley, age 76 of Elkton, passed away Thursday, February 09, 2023 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Services will be Sunday February 12, 2023 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Wiley’s Chapel Cemetery in Logan County, KY. Visitation will be Sunday February 12, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Talley was born August 11, 1946 in Logan County. She had been employed at Red Kap and a homemaker. She was a member of Wiley’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, her flower beds and babysitting. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Henry Whitaker and Myrtle Lee Jenkins Whitaker,her great granddaughter Riley Paige Rives, her brothers Cecil Ray and James Earl Whitaker.
She is survived by her husband of55 years Franklin “Pee Wee” Talley of Elkton, her son Michael “Mudd” Talley of Elkton, KY, her brother John Darrell “Jack” Whitaker of Lewisburg, KY her sisters Virginia Willis of Lewisburg, KY and Linda Willis and her husband Leroy of Scottsville, KY, her granddaughter Courtney Talley.
