Jewell Belvert Powell

Mr. Jewell Belvert “J.B.” Powell age 71 of Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday December 29, 2022 2:00 p.m. at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Services will be Saturday December 31, 2022 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Saturday December 31, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Mr. Powell was born April 6, 1951 in Elkton, KY. He was a farmer and retired from the parts department of Patriot Chevrolet. He attended Fruit Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Connie Kay Powell in 2019, his parents Huel Belvert Powell and Fannie Pauline Siggers Powell, his brother Doug Powell.
He is survived by his sons Brian Lee Sisco and Derrick Andrew Powell both of Hopkinsville, KY, his daughters Melissa Powell-Creamer and her husband C.J. of Crestview, FL, Michelle Daniel and her husband Morris of Hopkinsville, and Lisa Parker and her husband Jeff of Hopkinsville, his sisters Martha Chandler and her husband Marvin of Clifty, KY and Betty Hutcheson and her husband Herman of Russellville, KY, 11 Grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
