Jewell Griffin

Mrs. Jewell Griffin, age 86 of Elkton ,KY passed away 2:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2020 at her residence of natural causes. Services will be Wednesday January 29, 2020 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. Randy Davenport officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Tuesday January 28, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Griffin was born August 2, 1933 in Todd County. She was retired from Libby’s Southern Beef and Hearthstone Place both in Elkton. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher. She is preceded in death by her parents Riley Borders and Mae McGhee Borders, her sisters Ima Settle and Earline Shelton.
She is survived by her sons Ellis and his wife Gail Settle of Clifty, KY, Arlie and his wife Jerriann Griffin of Beechmont, KY, Kent and his wife Susan Griffin of Elkton, KY, and Wade and his wife April Griffin of Elkton, KY, her daughters Ann and her husband Otho Bush of Cadiz, KY and Lou Jean Griffin of Elkton, KY, her sister Shirley Blake Millard of Iowa. 17 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren.
