Jerry Elwood Weaver

Mr. Jerry Elwood Weaver age 71 of Elkton, KY died 12:12 p.m. Saturday September 5, 2020 in Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN of natural causes.
Services will be Friday September 11, 2020 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. Jimmy Dukes officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Francies Cemetery in Todd County.
A native of Wayne County, NC, he was born December 29, 1948, the son of Fred Weaver and Lillie May Jones Weaver.
He was a self-employed Floor Covering Installer for 49 years, U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and a member of New Life Worship Center where he was Assistant Pastor and past Youth Director.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Francies Weaver in 2013, his brothers Allen, Fred Jr, John, Sam and William Weaver, his sisters Bertha Weaver Hall, Martha Weaver Davis, and Mary Weaver Jones.
Survivors include his step son Mike Lopez of Elkton, his foster son Stephen Gibbs of Elkton, his step daughter Sheila Miller of Elkton, his brothers Paul, and Jay Weaver of North Carolina, and Nick Weaver of South Carolina, his sister Shirley Weaver Strickland of North Carolina. 2 step grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild.
