Janet Lee Cook

Mrs. Janet Lee Cook, age 57 of Russellville, KY went to her eternal home at 1:30 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her residence. Services will be Friday September 2, 2022 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Glen Harper and Rev. Jonathan Hadden officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove, KY. Visitation will be Thursday September 1, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Mrs. Cook was born in Concord, NC on March 22, 1965. She was employed at Lewisburg Elementary and Middle School as Custodian. She is a member of Baugh Station General Baptist Church in Lewisburg, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents Gene Baxter Moose and Mary Lee Earnhardt Moose, her son Jeremy Scott Scercy, her sister Ruth Boger.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years Ricky Cook of Russellville, KY, her son Ricky “Little Ricky“ Cook and his wife Laura of Russellville, KY, her daughter in law Michele Scercy Lefler of York, PA, her Mother In Law Maxine Cook of Elkton, KY, her sister Sarah Galloway of Rockwell, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Terry Cook, Ed Cook, Chris Tabb, Larry Richey, Keith Richey and Jimmy Gibson, Honary Pallabearers will be Darrell Fulcher and Wendell McPherson.
