Jane S. Scott

Mrs. Jane S. Scott, age 94 of Elkton and formerly of Clinton, KY, passed away 12:57 PM, Sunday, September 08, 2019 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton of natural causes. Services for Mrs. Scott will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Latham Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Claxton and Mr. Frankie Brown officiating. Burial will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at Clark Cemetery in Clinton, KY. Visitation with the family will be 9:00 AM Tuesday until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jane was born September 21, 1924 in Humphries County, TN the daughter of the late Walter D. and Susie Corbitt Woods. She was retired from Chrysler Corporation in Michigan after 30 years of service. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church in Herndon, KY and formerly of Calvary Baptist in Elkton. Mrs. Jane was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnie W. Scott, her brother, Clyde Woods and her sister, Ola Waggoner.
Survivors include her sisters, Bobbye Ann McIntosh of Hopkinsville and Amanda Sweeney of Port Charlotte, Florida; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
