James Samuel Taylor

Mr. James Samuel Taylor, age 86 of Sharon Grove, passed away 7:29 AM, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his residence of natural causes. Private services with Rev. Calvin Bond and Rev. Danny Laster officiating will be held for Mr. Taylor with burial to follow in the New Cedar Grove Cemetery in Todd County.
Mr. Taylor was born in Trigg County, KY February 12, 1934. He was a carpenter and past member of the carpenters union. He was a member of the New Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he had served on the building committee, he also was a past member of the Sharon Grove Volunteer Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his parents Milton Taylor and Eula May Boren Taylor, his two brothers Earl and Bobby Taylor, his grandson Christopher Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Sara Hadden Taylor of Sharon Grove,KY, his sons Allen and his wife Joy Taylor of Lewisburg, KY, Mark and his wife Peggy Taylor of Russellville, KY, his daughters Shirley and her husband Jim Allman of Elkton, KY and Sandra and her husband TyeVe Soares of Elkton, KY, 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
