Mr. James Martin Dethridge age 86 of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of Elkton,KY passed away Friday February 5, 2021 6:22 a.m. at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY of natural causes. The family has chosen a cremation service with private memorial service. There will be no visitation. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dethridge was born in Bowling Green, KY February 17, 1934 the son of the late Guy W. Dethridge and Clara Mae Dethridge. He was retired from Holley Carburetor in Bowling Green. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter Melissa Dethridge.
He is survived by his wife Mary Purkerson Dethridge of Bowling Green, his son Joel Dethridge of Benton, KY, his daughters Pam Carter and Stephanie Dethridge of Bowling Green, KY, 4 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
