Mr. James Andrew DeLozier, age 79 of Trenton, passed away 6:25 AM, Monday, January 07, 2019 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY of natural causes. Services for Mr. James will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2019 at Trenton Baptist Church in Trenton, KY with Rev. Dean Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. James will be after 10:00 AM Friday at Trenton Baptist Church until time for the service. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. James was born November 24, 1939 in Pigeon Forge, TN the son of the late James Asa and Frances Ruth Stott DeLozier. He owned and operated A&W Import Parts in Clarksville, was the parts manager at Gary Mathews in Clarksville and retired from Ardco in Elkton. He was a member of Trenton United Methodist Church, avid motorcycle rider, Volkswagen and motorcycle mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Faye Seay DeLozier of Trenton; his sons, Mike DeLozier and his wife Lisa of Knoxville, TN and Pat DeLozier of Cunningham, TN; his daughter, Sharlene Sears and her husband, William of Trenton; His brother William E. “Billy” DeLozier and his wife Fran of Pigeon Forge, TN; his sister, Mary Sue Wolff and her husband Donald of Clarksville, TN; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family asks that donations be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
