Howard Wayne Captain Jones

Mr. Howard Wayne “Captain” Jones, age 69 of Elkton, passed away 3:20 PM, September 16, 2019 at his residence of natural causes. Services for Mr. Jones will be 11:00 AM, Thursday September 19, 2019 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Jones will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones was born January 4, 1950 in Todd Co., KY the son of the late Otho and Wylene Brumfield Jones. He was retired from the Hopkinsville-Christian Co. Recreation Department and a member of Britmart Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Morris Jones and Robert Jones and also his sister, Polly Dossett.
Survivors include his wife Sue Jones of Elkton; his step-daughter, Heather Frances of Hopkinsville; his brother, Virgil Jones of Hopkinsville; his step-grandchildren, Austin, Cortney and Grace; his step-great grandchildren, Kayden and Sophia.
