Henry Clay Strader

Mr. Henry Clay Strader, age 79 of the Claymour Community, passed away 12:30 PM Tuesday, October, 8, 2019 at Western State Nursing Facility in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes. Services will be Friday October 11, 2019 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Roger Skipworth officiating. Burial will follow in the McColpin Cemetery in Allegre, KY. Visitation will be Thursday October 10, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Strader was born in Muhlenberg County, KY January 1, 1940. He was retired from Flynn Enterprise, Allegre Plant. Mr. Strader was a member of Allegre Missionary Baptist Church. He loved to fish, sing, play cards and pitch horseshoes. He is preceded in death by his parents Herman Wallace Strader and Beulah Mae Carver Strader, his sisters Darlene Eggers and Bonnie King.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Troutman Strader of Claymour, KY, his daughters Melody Sue Martin, Sharon Elaine Pogue and her husband Ralph, Rachel Maria Gray, and Sarah Joyce Simon all of Elkton,KY, his brother Delbert Strader and his wife Cindy of Elkton, KY, his sister Rita Teague and her husband Ricky of Hopkinsville, KY, 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
