Harold Ray Rager

Mr. Harold Ray Rager, age 83 of Clifty, passed away 12:01 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2022 at his residence. Services for Harold Ray will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Bellview Baptist Church, 225 Pilot Rock Road in Allegre with Rev. Rodney Skipworth, Rev. Jimmy Kenner and Mr. Barry Rager officiating. Burial will follow in the Heltsley Cemetery in Clifty. Visitation for Harold Ray will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday at Bellview Baptist Church and after 9:00 AM Tuesday until time for the service. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Harold Ray was born March 8, 1939 in Allegre, KY. He was a retired Insurance Agent for Commonwealth Insurance Company and a farmer. He had served in the US Army Reserves and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Song Leader. He was also a member of the Gideon’s Elkton Camp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Layton and Isabelle Shanklin Rager and his sister, Martha Rager.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Nelda Dean Powell Rager of Clifty; his son, Barry Rager and his wife Leslie of Elkton; his daughter, Penny Rager Kenner and her husband Jimmy of Pawnee, Oklahoma; his brothers, Lilburn Rager of Allegre and Ricky Rager of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Linda Lack Power of Elkton, Phyllis Meacham and Debbie Latham both of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Kyle and Christopher Kenner; Cloie and Landon Rager and his great grandchildren, Ethan, John Logan, Clay and Cohen Kenner.
