Gilbert Gene Tucker

Mr. Gilbert Gene Tucker age 74 of Allegre, KY passed away Friday January 31, 2020 12:22 p.m. at Tristar Skyline Hospital in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Tuesday February 4, 2020 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church in Todd County with Rev. Fred Harrison and Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday February 3, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Tucker was born in Todd County, KY February 12, 1945. He was the former owner and operator of Gilbert Tucker Dozing. He was also a farmer and coal miner. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church and a Mason. He is preceded in death by his parents Geanie Noel Tucker and Bertha Jane Deason Tucker.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Mitchell Tucker of Allegre, KY, his daughters Teresa Bowman and her husband Sid of Phoenix, AZ, Tammy Strader and her husband Scott of Fruithill, KY and Christie Baumann and her husband Brent of Allegre, KY, his sister Linda Ann Willis of Kirkmansville, KY, his grandchildren Tyler and Tanner Strader, Drew and Derek Baumann, his Great Grandchildren Chloe and Jordyn Strader and Owen Baumann.
