Mr. George Louis Fletcher, age 71 of Elkton, passed away 1:24 PM, May 4, 2021 at his residence of natural causes. Services for Mr. George will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May 7, 2021 at Latham Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Rev. Junior Tomlinson officiating. Mr. George's service will be live-streamed from our website at lathamfuneralhome.com. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. George was born October 20, 1949 in Cedar Hill, TN. He was retired from Phelps Dodge in Hopkinsville, KY. Mr. George loved his dog, Tiny and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Fairview, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buest and Hattie Bell Morgan Fletcher; his wife, Marilyn Joyce Oliver Fletcher, his brothers, Tandy Fletcher, Buest Fletcher Jr., Eugene Fletcher, J.C. Fletcher, Frank Fletcher and Willie Fletcher.
Survivors include his son, Jeffery Wade Fletcher and his wife Karen of Elkton; his brothers, James Fletcher of Pembroke and Leroy Fletcher of Elkton; his sisters, Margaret Fletcher of Elkton, Margie Graves of Whitehouse, TN and Martha Locke of New Jersey; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Fletcher and her fiancé, Anthony Victorino and Millie Fletcher both of Elkton; his great granddaughter, Hadley Victorino of Elkton.
