Gene Davis Wilson

Mr. Gene Davis Wilson, age 77 of Elkton, passed away 8:52 AM, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton of natural causes. Services will be Sunday March 15, 2020 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev .Calvin Naylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Stokes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday March 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson was born in Todd County May 1, 1942. He was a member of Elkton Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson was retired after 38 years from the Maintenance Department of Thomas Industries in Hopkinsville, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents Jess Wilson and Anna Case Wilson his brothers Jessie, Richard and Jack Wilson, his sisters Mae Cannon and Dorothy Wilson.
He is survived by his sons Troy Wilson of Elkton, KY Jason Wilson and his wife Melissa of Elkton, his daughter Tammy Simmons and her husband Doug of Hopkinsville, KY, three grandchildren Lindsay Clan, Meagan Dunn and Matt Wilson, 5 great grandchildren.
