Gene Ross Stratton

Mr. Gene Ross Stratton, age 83 of Hopkinsville, passed away 5:45 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. Private graveside services will be held at Bells Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Stratton was born in Todd County April 7, 1938. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church. Mr. Stratton was retired from Roadway as a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters, and Eagles club. He is preceded in death by his parents Hackman Stratton and Bessie Williams Stratton.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Sue Mann Stratton of Hopkinsville, KY, his step sons Gaylon Rust and his wife Sherry Lynn of Elkton, Michael Mann and his wife Janine and Terry Mann both of Nashville, TN, his daughters Anita Jo Powell and her husband Jerry of Russellville, KY and Tonya Cathcart and her husband Ricky of Elkton, KY, his step daughters Kathy Anderson and her husband Tommy of Hopkinsville, KY, Donna Duke and her husband David of Anchorage, Alaska, Lori Ryan of Lebanon, TN, and Vicki McClain of Mayfield, KY, his brother Bob Stratton and his wife Sue of Elkton, KY, and 19 grandchildren.
